Jacqui joined Fisher Adams Kelly in March 2010, after initially working with another Brisbane patent and trade marks firm.

Prior to moving into intellectual property, Jacqui spent three years working as a Scientist and Project Manager for a Brisbane-based company specialising in the development of biomedical technologies for wound healing, tissue repair, and cell culture applications.

During her honours project at the Queensland Institute of Medical Research (QIMR), Jacqui conducted immunological and cell biology research for skin cancer. In particular, she examined the interaction between dendritic cells and patient-derived melanoma cells to assist the development of cancer immunotherapies.

Jacqui also has experience working as a Medical Scientist at a Brisbane histopathology laboratory, where she was involved in specimen collection and processing, tissue staining, embedding and sectioning, immunohistochemistry, and frozen section processing.

Jacqui has recently joined the Trade Marks team and is involved in a broad spectrum of trade marks, designs and patent related matters.
