Paul has more than 16 years patent and trade marks experience and specialises in mechanical
and process engineering, manufacturing systems, materials handling, medical instrumentation and apparatus and registered designs.

Paul has acted on behalf of a range of companies including ASX listed companies, Universities, start-up companies, multinational and national companies, offering a pragmatic and strategic approach to protecting their intellectual property. Paul has also provided litigation strategies including filing a number of innovation patents in order to successfully capture infringers’ products.

The formation of the Fisher Adams Kelly Engineering team was pioneered by Paul, who saw a need among Engineering clients to be assisted in protecting their intellectual property rights by attorneys who were Engineers themselves. This initiative has attracted some of the countries foremost patent attorneys with engineering experience and is a highlight of Paul’s career.

Paul became a Partner of Fisher Adams Kelly in 2002.
